~ Mother's Day Lunch @ The Manhattan Fish Market ~

Mother's Day falls on every 2nd Sunday in the month of May. Coincidentally it is also the examination month for the children where we tend to get very busy. Nevertheless, there's always time for food and we decided to head down to The Manhattan Fish Market for a simple family lunch.

Manhattan is having 1 for 1 promotion deals and that was enough to attract diners forming a long queue outside the restaurant to celebrate the special occasion. The children took this opportunity to enjoy a short break away from their books.

We ordered 2 sets of "Feeesh n Cheeese" and "Small Flame". Top up another $9 and we get to enjoy 2 Soup of the day and 2 Iced Lemon Tea to complete our meal.

Cream of Tomato
We are loving it!

Iced Lemon Tea.
*Note: Ice water is chargeable at 50 cents per cup.

Feeesh 'N Cheeese - Favourite among children. Fried fish fillet with thick serving of cheese served with lots of fries at the side.

My personal choice would be Small Flame as it has a nice combi of garlic herbal rice, fries, battered fish and steamed carrots and broccoli. I love the melted cheese that settle nicely on top of the flaming prawns. Simply delicious!

Spending a simple lunch date with my loved ones is a blessing. It feels great to be a mother and I'm thankful to see my children growing up happily and healthily.
