We did not manage to get any tickets for the National Day parade, but there are always alternatives where you can catch a glimpse of the excitement and enjoy a meal with your love ones as we celebrate Singapore's 49th birthday.
Last weekend, Hubby and I spent an evening date out at The Pelican Seafood Bar & Grill, enjoying the breeze by the alfresco bar and admiring the view of the bay as we await for the fireworks display that will be happening at 8 ish.
Hubby and I - comfortably seated at the Pelican Deck with unlimited flow of Belvedere cocktails.
We had a couple of rounds of Sunkiss cocktail and Citris Summer, which were made with lemon tea-flavoured Belvedere vodka.
Assorted canapes - "Hush Puppies" and "Crab Cake" that go with the cocktails.
The oysters are delicious and fresh! It may look greenish but it is also that same sauce topping that enhance the flavour of the oyster.
