We arrived early at the Singapore Cruise Centre and check-in our luggage at level 1. If you are carrying large bags or luggage, it would be advisable to check them in. They will be delivered to your room at a later time. Next, we proceed to level 2 for cruise departure.
4:30pm - Time to get on-board! We felt like VIPs as we walked along the walkway to the ship.
Our room access cards with $100 of dining credits per cabin within.
As balcony class guests, we were directed to the Grand Piazza where welcome drinks were served.
The kids got hold of a copy of Star Navigator to check out list of the activities available on board. :) That will be our entertainment guide for the next 2 days.
While waiting for our rooms to be ready, we lingered around Grand Piazza to catch some live performances.
Since it was our first time on-board, we explored the various decks to familiarize with the surrounding. There are 13 decks on Superstar Virgo and our rooms were located on Deck 9. Most of the facilities and activities are located between Deck 7 to 13.
5pm - To avoid the crowd, we head down to queue up for dinner at The Pavilion Room (Deck 6) - A family-style Chinese restaurant. We were lucky to be there early as there was a long queue thereafter.
Allocation of table is on a first come first serve basis and based on the number of people there are. Different set of dishes will be served to the guests daily. For our table of 6, we had 5 dishes + 1 soup, served with rice. *Do note that drinks are not inclusive and are chargeable.
6pm - Our rooms are READY! Yippee! Our luggage were also placed outside of the cabin. This is our Oceanview Stateroom with balcony! It comes with 2 single beds/1 queen size bed and 1 sofa bed suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids. However, due to the promotional offer, we booked a total of 3 balcony cabin rooms. Hubby and Denver shared one room, Gladys and myself shared the second and my inlaws stayed in the third room. ^_^

Although the toilet is smaller, it is neat, clean and completely furnished to suit our needs.

7pm - Although we had a sumptuous dinner, we could not resist popping by the Mediterranean Buffet line and sit down for some desserts and a cup of coffee or tea. The good thing about hopping on a cruise is enjoying its all day and night dining at our convenience! Denver enjoyed sampling the food at every station.
7:30pm - Before we set sail, it is important and mandatory for guests to attend the safety briefing in case of any emergency. There will be a demonstration on how to put on the safety life vest as well as where to assemble when the alarm sounds.
8pm - As Superstar Virgo slowly sets sail, we went for our first show of the night at The Lido (Deck 7). It was an hour of entertainment filled with songs and jokes.
9pm - We headed back to our room and the kids showered before heading down for another show. Despite passing their bed-time, the kiddos were very active and did not display an inch of tiredness at all!
9:40pm - Seated comfortably at The Lido as we await for the Magic show, performed by illusionist - Vincent Vignaud to start.
11pm - It was a day filled with excitement. Tiredness finally started to sink in but our cheeky girl still had energy left to make herself comfortable. I thought she looked so funny with the bath robe as she looked like Master Yoda (Star Wars)! - Of course she is prettier and cuter! :D
