~ Nativity Fun Walk - Part 2 ~

Our walk began from Nativity Church. We exit the Kindergarten compound and crossed the road to Punggol Park. Joggers and cyclists were making way as our group overwhelmed the park on the quiet morning.

I love the lush greenery.

Taking a quick water break under the bridge.
Our walk continues on the Sungei Serangoon Park Connector.

Our pace has slowed down.... Gladys is dragging her feet already.

Denver managed to squeeze a smile. ^_^

Our little girl finally raised her white flag and reached out her hands signalling us to give her a lift. Awwwwww......

She got a little lift from Dear Daddy.

The weather is very hot and Denver is perspiring a lot.

Serangoon Park Connector - We are closer to our home but not even halfway through our walk!

Here we go again. As we get closer to Punggol Promenade, we saw people walking back with ice-creams in their hands. That kind of motivate our kiddos to walk faster to collect their reward!

Finally!! Ice-cream treat for Denver & Gladys!

The journey back was difficult. Luckily the ice-cream kept them company for a distance. Hubby nearly got a heat stroke but we had a great morning work-out. We were all tired out but it has been an eventful Labour Day holiday.

Now I know why Daddy Barry so tired haha. The weather + lack of shelter makes our 5km walk sounds longer :)

Hahah! He really nearly got a heat stroke! Plus all the carrying... that really makes the walk more challenging. :p
